Tasting North Carolina is a project that aims to celebrate the unique dishes of North Carolina’s 100 counties. This series was born of the desire to investigate and revel in the rich history of this state and the thriving contemporary food culture that stretches across its 543 miles. More than anything this is a love song to the state that I call home.
Below you can find a full list of our counties and follow along as we taste our way from mountains to sea. If you’re interested in suggesting a recipe for a particular county or region please email elena@biscuitsandsuch.com.
